There were some who told me “Do be careful because you are going to miss out on your youth”, but I still felt grateful that I could still live the beautiful moments of my youth in a relationship with God.

Communicating science is crucial for me. Through science I can appreciate God’s creation around me, from the tiniest creature, bacterium or virus to the largest species on the planet.
Understanding God’s ways
The wish to become a priest sprouted within me when I was still very young. It was a very interesting process and it is only now that I can realise what God’s plan for me was.

Science has helped me to strengthen my faith and vice versa, understanding that one cannot exist without the other. Thus, I really hope that having studied sciences will be an asset in my dialogues with non-believers.

I used to be mesmerized. It was almost as if the priest would be performing an extraordinary act!

Studying sciences and other subjects, together with the numerous other experiences that life laid down in front of me, have helped me to become more sensible towards the reality around me.
